"Hi, I’m Sophia, a recently graduated Veterinary Technician with a passion for animal care and behaviour. My journey in the field began long before school—growing up and working around horses taught me patience, communication, and the importance of building trust with every animal I meet.

Later on, I worked at a dog kennel, where I discovered my interest in canine behavior and the unique ways dogs communicate their needs. That experience strengthened my commitment to helping animals feel safe and understood, both in clinical settings and at home.

When I’m not at the clinic, I’m usually spending time with my two cats—Mooncake, a sweet black rescue, and Casper, who keeps life interesting with his curious personality. They constantly remind me why I chose this career: to advocate for the wellbeing of all animals.
