Clinic Tour

Slideshow: Virtual Tour

It is our goal to deliver a prompt and friendly greeting upon your arrival.

We value your time and would like to serve you efficiently throughout your visit.

Our integrated medical software schedules appointments and links it directly to client information and the patient's medical record.

Exam Room

We have 2 small exam rooms that are mirror images of one and other and have tilt tables to allow more space for large dogs.

We have one large exam room that is used for large dogs or for visits when multiple family members attend.

Treatment Rooms

Our treatment rooms are where most technical procedures are performed.

This is also where animals are anesthetized and prepared for surgical procedures.

Radiographs are routinely used as a diagnostic tool. They provide valuable information about animal's bones, gastrointestinal tract (stomach, intestines, colon), respiratory tract (lungs), heart, and urinary system (bladder, prostate). They can be used alone or in conjunction with other diagnostic tools to provide a list of possible causes for an animal'™s condition, to identify the exact cause of a problem, and/or to rule out possible problems.

As an x-ray beam passes through a patient's body, the beams are absorbed in different quantities by different types of tissues. Images on radiographic film appear as various shades of grey and reflect the anatomy of the animal. Light areas such as bones absorb more x-rays than darker areas such as the lungs. Interpretation of radiographs requires great skill on the part of the veterinarian. Mount Brydges Animal Clinic uses up to date radiology equipment and an automatic x-ray developer so results are received quickly.

We are able to perform complete blood counts (CBC's), biochemical and some special chemistry tests within our lab.  Most results are available within 10 minutes.  This is extremely helpful for emergency and critical cases and for "real time" pre-anesthetic blood screening.

Microscopic examinations of urine, blood, fecal and other tissues samples are routinely performed in the lab.

Kennels and Cages

We like our patients to feel comfortable during their stay.  We have a variety of sizes of enclosures to accommodate all sizes of companions!
