Jamey has been at the Mount Brydges Animal Clinic since graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC), with honors, in the spring of 2001.  At that time it was a mixed animal practice and he enjoyed both companion and production animal care.  With this experience, loyalty developed to the people of the area so he, along with his wife Dorothee, purchased the practice in 2006.

Dorothee has a Bachelor of Science Degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, with honors, from the University of Guelph.  She graduated in 2002 and has practiced strictly small animal medicine in the London area.

Dorothee and Jamey live in Mt Brydges on a small farm that houses their large family of 3 children; Ben, Fynn and Emma; 2 dogs Samson and Cooper; 2 cats Eddie and Coors; 4 horses Spanky, Baldwin, Buckwheat and Scout; and 1 special goat, Ernie!

Needless to say the animal bond is well represented in their lifestlyle!

Hi! My name is Kristin Elliott.  I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph in 2012. I recently joined the staff at Mount Brydges Animal Clinic in August 2013. My professional interests here include surgery and preventative healthcare.

In my spare time I enjoy baking, camping, traveling, and spending time with our family pets.  These include cats Alf and Zoe, as well as our two Labradors Ike and Colby.

My family and I have really enjoyed the warm and friendly atmosphere both at the clinic and in the Mount Brydges community.  I know that you and your pet will too, and I look forward to seeing you soon!

Hi my name is Anne. I joined the Mount Brydges Animal Clinic in 1981. I was a young newlywed at that time. Many things have changed over the years. My Husband and I have raised 2 wonderful children and have had some very special pets along the way. I have also seen a lot of changes at the clinic, however one thing which has never changed is the compassion and excellent care that is the core of what we do everyday. I feel the team here is an extension of my own family, with some staff even calling me their "work Mom"! I have shared joy and sadness with many of our clients who have become friends over the years. I look forward to meeting many new friends and watching that special bond that develops between people and their pets.
Outside of work I enjoy crafting, DIY and doing Stained Glass. My husband Rob and I share our home with Sully the lovable Cairn Terrier, Floyd our son's epileptic Pointer and Martini the "infamous" cat who hates coming to the clinic.
I am proud to have dedicated my whole career to working at the Mount Brydges Animal Clinic. Every day is challenging and rewarding, and I am still excited to come to work everyday!

My love for pets began growing up on a dairy farm and continued as I attended Centrailia College graduating from the Animal Health Technology program.

Hi my name is Patti an that is where I met my husband Bob. We now reside in the community with our three children Sarah, Brad and Matt as well as our energy filled lab Bentley and our barn cat Boots.

I am a busy sports mom, a volunteer in our church and community. I like to garden, camp and spend time with outdoors.

I have been employed at the Mount Brydges Animal Clinic for 23 years. I enjoy the relationships I have made throughout the year and look forward to the challenge that each day brings.

We as staff firmly believe in our core value "Pet First" and are committed to provide that care for you and your pet at each and every visit. Hope to see you soon!

  • Doug

    Receptionist

    Hi there!

When I began working with the staff here at Mt. Brydges Animal Clinic it quickly became evident that €œpet first was not just the philosophy of the clinic, but words that each and every member live and work by. The unique assortment of animal lovers this clinic has acquired makes it a perfect setting to receive the best care possible for your loved ones. I have always had pets, whether it be my first cat Snowball who cuddled and nipped at you within a matter of minutes, the various dogs I have always had around me growing up, or my passion for horses, I have always had animals around me. I completed a degree in Sociology at Wilfrid Laurier University and followed that up with a Masters degree in Library and Information Science in London, ON at The University of Western Ontario. I joined the reception team here back in June 2013 and have loved the experience of getting to know the regular clients as well as the new faces who come to our clinic.

  • Michael

    Kennel Assistant

Hi, my name is Michael and I joined the Mount Brydges Animal Clinic in 2014 as a Kennel Assistant. I grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland and moved to Mount Brydges in 1999.

I grew up with three Rough Collies, but now my house is full of cats. When I started at the Clinic I had 4 cats (Maverick, Coconut, Patches and Emma), but it did not take long before my wife and I found ourselves adding to our family when we adopted a stray kitten (Shug) that was brought in. I have always had an attachment to animals, but it was not until a medical crisis with one of our cats that I became invested in wanting to work with them.

In my spare time you will usually find me outside in our garden, or kicking a football (soccer ball) around with my son, Hugh; in the background, and there will likely be a Beatles song playing!
